My wife and I’s first child is due on December 30th. How far in advance should we make the registry?

So chances are you are having a baby shower in October sometime??? I would start with my registry in August. That way you are not huge pregnant having to walk around the stores AND it gives you plenty of time to add any last minute things you think of. You must allow yourself plenty of time between the registry, the shower, and the birth to allow you to get things set for the arrival of your little one with out getting stressed out. Good luck!
About 1 month before the baby shower…
We created ours when we found out we were pregnant..it’s never too soon to create a registry!
i started at 7 months and u can add more on later if u need to so i would start around then best of luck
I started at 5 months because by the time I had my shower ( at 8 months ) I had kept removing and adding new things as they crossed my mind. The two month period also helped people have more time to buy things versus last minute as I know EVERYBODY does
. Congratz on your new arrival and good luck. ( Also- don’t just make one registry because alot of different stores carry different things and Babies’R'Us is a tad expensive versus Target or Walmart. You’ll be bound to find things that you like at one store that this store doesn’t carry or it’s only available online)
once you have a baby shower date i would start making the list and as time progresses you can add and delete as your needs change.
