What Would Be A Creative Gift For My Best Friends Baby Shower?

I’m pretty crafty so I would like to make something that would be special. I would really like it if it would be something I could do every year for the childs birthday.

I don’t know about every year, but a diaper cake is super cute for a shower. You get some hat boxes, or 3 boxes of same shape and different size and wrap them with receiving blankets and pin them with diaper pins. Then you wrap diapers around them with ribbons. Then you stick different things around it like bibs, onesies, toys, nuks, rattles, etc. Here is a link of one I made, it turned out awesome (if I don’t say so myself!)
If you decide to make one and have any questions, you can email me through my profile.
    - It is not letting me post the link, if you want to see the pic email me and I will send it to you.

How about as part of the gift giving her a scrapbook and tell her you will complete it for the baby’s first birthday? During the year take lots of pictures for her and take some now while she’s pregnant too. Then, on the baby’s first bday you can give her the completed scrapbook and then continue on for the next.

A good friend of mine made a diaper cake with goodies tucked into it. It was really neat because she made it herself and it was also very useful because it had 4 different size diapers in it and you can never have enough. Another friend of mine made me a shadow box set to put the babies pictures in when shes born. Those are easy they sell the box at craft stores and you can get decorations and stuff to put in them.

My nan made a patchwork blanket for me up until I was 16. 1 patch for every year of my life. Mainly with things I had achieved or special times in my life, thats a nice idea. My little boy Kai loves laying on it and looking at the brights colours. Nice hand me down to show him what I liked when I was a child.

With my first baby, my sisters started a Dr. Suess collection for my daughter. They probably bought about ten different books and have added to it since. I thought it was super cool and unique! Now my daughter is five, and she still loves them, some of them she is just growing into, and some she knows by heart!

Wht not start a scrap book that has plenty of room to add on . you can start a few pages for her and let her do the rest. My aunt did one and it was very special and adorable. we loved it .

A scrapbook for milestones. I sew and I make all of my friends slings to carry thier babies in. The pouch sling is very easy and takes about 1 hour to cut and sew.

You could try a quilt if you’re into knitting.
