What Was The Most Useful Gift You Received For Baby?
Or really, any purchase?
I’m making final touches on my registry, and i’m wondering if there is anything else I didn’t think to add that would be beneficial.
What are the top 3 best purchases you ever made, or, were given as gifts?
If we didn’t have the swaddle me blanket and a swing my husband and I would have died from sleep exhaustion when Alyssa was a newborn.
1) baby video monitor.
2) angel pad – will go off like mad if the baby’s breathing slows and supposedly prevent SIDS.
3) baby carrier…you really need to have the baby near you and use your hands a lot!
Better poll….worse baby items:
1) diaper genie…yuck, should be sold as “a way to store pop and stick up the house” lol….just throw out the diapers.
2) changing table…I always prefer the floor or bed. I was always scared of baby rolling off the table.
my baby bjorn snuggly! I carry my baby everywhere in it, and its so much easier to get through errands like grocery shopping carrying the baby in it, instead of trying to navigate the stroller or putting the carseat in the shopping cart.
Rocking chair! It was a gift from my mother, and I thought it was a cute addition to the nursery, but I didn’t realize how much I would use it (and how much I would treasure the time spent with my daughter in it!).
DIAPERS…seriously. After that clothes and then stuff like carseat and swing….but all the diapers were great. At my shower I got enough diapers that I didnt have to buy any until my baby was 9 months old.
1. Portable Crib. No kiddin. Absolutely useful!
2. Kolcraft Contours 4 wheels stroller.
3. Dr.Brown 4 oz. bottles
Cases of diapers, sooo good. I also got a swing which I learned you can’t live without. A Roller Rocker with ottoman, I used it soo often. Bumbo Seat was a great gift.

spit up rags (in my case cloth diapers).. My son dirtys about 3-4 a day. and if your planning on breast feeding, a my brest friend pillow, dont waste your time or money on the boppy.
