What Should I Write On The Card That Goes With My Baby Shower Gift?

The card I’m giving with my present says “Showers of wishes for your bundle of joy! Happy Baby shower”. Should I just put the parents names on the envelope? Or also the baby’s name. (They know what they’ll be naming him) Any ideas for what I should say in the card? I guess I’m mostly wondering if I should be addressing just the parents, or the parents and the baby.

We knew we were having a boy and what we were naming him when we had our shower. From my experience, I have to admit it made me smile a little more to see our son’s name on the card as well.
If there’s any doubt that little Johnny may be a Suzie instead, I would write the parents name and “baby” or something along those lines. If there’s no doubt, then use the baby’s name.

I would put “Baby – - – - – “whatever the baby’s name is. The gift is for the baby. Generally, I would write, God bless your new gift from heaven, or As you arrive in this big world, may you know you have many that love you, Many blessings as you come into this world, . . . . . . . . . I always try to be creative as well as sentimental.

    I would put
to the happy parents ……and…….in anticipation of your wonderful
    new baby boy/girl ……….

put everyone’s name on it – in the card a simple congratulations would work well

    Put everyone’s name on it…

Use the baby’s name or use the parents name & the baby’s. It really is your choice.
On the inside say something like Welcome to the World or Happy Birthday Baby. Or some sweet sentiment that you like. Then sign your name.’
