if she has a registry def get something off there, but i would think that a gift certificate to target, baby r us, somewhere like that that they can pick it out. i went to my friends baby shower and i think that 10 people got her a baby blanket so she had so many of those and then a lot of onesies… so i think that either asked her specifically what she wants like have her print a pic or a gift card
check her registry for baby shower…or give her a basket filled with diapers,lotion,wipes,shampoo,soap,formul… she really will use and need. she would appreciate alot. think of things other people wont give like diaper rash ointment,baby oil,combs,cotton balls,q-tips just put it in a basket and cover it with translucent paper and a big blue bow. this might sound weird but its actually cool.

You know what everyone always get clothes and baby stuff, So for my sisters last shower I got a nice wicker basket that she could use to hold toys and I went and bought a ton of books to start my nephews library, Board books, and then some other classics, I went to the dollar store they have tons of board books oh and try Like Family dollar and Dollar general. I think by the time I was done I had like 50 books. I arranged them in the basket and got some receiving blankets that I used like tissue paper. She loved it and now at almost 3 years old my nephew loves his books.

I like to get them a plastic ball at Wal-Mart. They are about 2 feet around they usually have them in the center isle inside a square set of cargo nets and you have to pull the one you like out! They cannot use it right away but this friend of mine told me the other day that they still have that ball and her kids still play with it sometimes! They are now in there 20′s. Good Luck have fun!
