What Is A Unique Baby Shower Gift?
My coworkers and I are trying to figure out something to get our boss.. she’s having a boy. We have about $140 to work with. We were thinking, $100 in a gift card, and use the $40 for the “unique” gift. Any ideas!???

I went to a shower once and someone had made a old timey clothesline and used clothespins to pin new baby clothes to the line and had it laid out in an old wicker basket. It was really cute!
How about some items for the mom to use while in the hospital? Some ideas are:
*comfy slippers
*bottled water (think Evian or something nice)
*calling card
*snacks for after the delivery- like chocolates, caramels, crackers, dried fruits, etc
*scented lotion
*a baby book (she can start it while at the hospital, before she goes home)
*a small stuffed animal for the baby
*a REALLY NICE pen (she will be signing LOTS of forms!!)
You could put together a basket for the expectant parents to use and a card for few hours of free babysitting. For example a nice bottle of wine, chocolates, and a gift card to a local eating establishment. (If she’s going to breast feed you might want to make it another drink.)
Diapers in all different sizes. You can’t go wrong with diapers.
A diaper cake!
