What Is A Good Gift To Give For A Newborn Baby Boy?
My friend just had a baby boy, I want to get something the baby could use. Blanket? toy? Any suggestions?

diapers, onesies, sleepers
another GREAT gif is a gift card to Wal-Mart, Target- probably the best gifts I received
a cradle
A boyish colored blue layette set (onsie, hat blanket, etc. in a packaged gift set). Something more practical would be a bunch of diapers. I just had a baby so trust me I know how fast they go…they would be much appreciated.
How about $ 10,000 ???
Visit http://www.breezybeachwear.com and click on their “apparel” section. Click on the link and you’ll be re-directed to BBW’s gallery at zazzle. Look for the two infant shirts… one says “daddy’s little beach bum” and another says, “Mommy’s little beach bum.” Get both or one… that would be a really cute gift and you know they’d use it on vacation or if they lived near a beach!

Like um…maybe a gift card to like Babies R Us that way the parents can choose what they need or want for the baby!
diapers, wipes, baby shampoos, baby lotion… any of those day to day supplies that way mom won’t worry when she gets low, she’ll have a supply!!
Pjs
Diapers!!! I have a 2 yr old boy, and the best thing I got was diapers. Babies grow fast, so get her some size 2 or 3 so she has them when she needs them.
something fluffy!
If you are not sure what to buy, the best thing to do is give a plush toy with a gift certificate from a baby store, so the mother can use to by something for the baby when the need arises, or cash.
The best thing that I got when my son was born was onesies and dippers. Believe me toys arnt going to matter, they don’t ever pay attention to them until way later.
Get a gift card…only parents would know what they really need..I like that small toys that have chekkerboard parretn on them..they say babies notice B/W checkerboard pattern the erliest!
My son is 4 months old and he is growing everyday. My suggestion would be snap shirts. They are easy to change for spitups and also help when the cord is falling off. Plus, easy access to changing diapers fast, since sometimes they squirt everywhere. Congrats to your friend, having a baby is wonderful!
a psp
Diapers, baby wipes, bath soap, lotion, nail clippers, socks….I have 2 kids and these are all of the things that I ran out of most often! Make a basket with all of these things in it, that will be a great gift and will help the parents considerably!
gift card of target.
A political party affiliation
Be different…A savings bond.
soft teddy bear or stuffy
Any of these ideas aare good. One thing I loved was one of my friends put together a gift bag with baby towels, washcloths and bath products, (shampoo, baby wash, lotion, etc.) It is a real fun gift! If you are low on funds, give her a coupon for free babysitting!
blanket, onesies, diapers, wipes, bath stuff, socks, bibs, diapers, diapers, diapers…
diapers diapers diapers, coming from a new mom, the diapers are what I needed the most. Blankets and toys I have thousands of and your friend probably has already gotten them too. If she’s formula feeding you could ask her what kind and get her some of that too. But pampers swaddlers are the best diapers so show that little boy some lovin’ and get him some of those! Your friend will really be grateful!
Pack of Marlboro and a six-pack of Bud
Maybe some diapers or a baby book if she doesn’t already have one
A blanket, teddy bear, or a rattle….
Excellent question!
Open up a savings acct for him. Just put in what u can afford and then let other people know so they can also put money in it for him. The mother will have to open one up but I’m sure she will think its great.
A new born needs clothes……something very cute to show off in, as they wont be wearing it very long, A blanket perhaps yes, but I would suggest going to a nice upper class type baby store and finding something really original and something they will keepsake perhaps…
Toys really un-needed as a newborn…unless its something they can play with later, stuffed animals great for decoration and drool catching little else…lol
For a newborn its best to give the parents a gift.
Self-Esteem
Diaper(Pampers swaddles are best) and food for the new parents or maybe some help around the house.
