Should I Give Hostess Gifts For The People Throwing My Baby Shower?
My Best friend and my mom are throwing me a baby shower. They hardly know each other and live in different towns but are trying to work together to host my baby shower. My shower is this Saturday and I was just thinking how I would like to do something nice for them because they are working so hard for me.
Without breaking the bank what are some creative Cute baby shower hostess gifts Or is that appropriate?
Thanks in advance!!
You could get them both nice, small frames from Things Remembered or even a department store. The idea being that you would send them a photo of your baby when he/she arrives….that would probably be a gift they would both like!
I think it is really nice of you to think about giving your Mom and Best friend a gift as a token of appreciation. As for what to give them, what do they like best? You could give them movie tickets (that certainly doesnt break the bank and wont cost more than $ 20 but will depend on where you live). Maybe a magazine subscription or gift certificates to a spa at an amount you can afford. There’s plenty of ideas out there but keep your friend and mom’s interests in mind and they will love you for it.
Congrats by the way. It would be quite honorable on your part to offer some type of gift/reward for the assistance in throwing your baby shower. I would suggest perhaps taking them to a buffet as a group to just enjoy mealtime together and show the appreciation in a simple not so grand way. I hope you have an awesome day on Saturday.

usually when people throw u baby showers they kill themselves in the process anyway. i have noo idea what i would have done without me female family members about my shower! just get a pack of thank-you cards and personalize them and give them out. just make sure u put how big of a help they were, etc. they’ll get the idea.
I had my mother, mother-in-law, and sister-in -law planning my shower…. I bought them all fall related gifts… nothing too too expensive. The theme of my shower was fall… so that’s why I went with that. I bought them each something they could decorate their house with… I think I only spent 20 on each but they were all very thrown off that I did it and were very happy.
Little favor bags can be filled with candy and after the party

A heartfelt, well-written thank-you note is sufficient. It’s not customary not is is expected for the guest of honor to reciprocate with a hostess gift.
a little token gift would be nice but in our family we always have them as a surprise so the Mom has no chance to get a gift.
I gave my mom and best friend a complete day at the spa. So after all that hectic and running everywhere they have some time for themselfs to relax.
That is really sweet of you! A nice thank you card and maybe a little pampering set?
get whatever you like a nice gift of bath and body works sound s nice
Really interesting blog, keep up the good work!
