Sending Baby Gifts In The Mail – Do I Have To Wrap?
I’m sending several friends who just had babies several gifts each . . . the gifts include clothes, christmas ornaments, and some first aid equipment. They’re kind of tricky to wrap with paper and I don’t think that a gift bag would survive inside the box.
Do you think that I need to wrap the gifts?
you don’t have to gift wrap them. your friends will be delighted with the gifts wether it has fancy paper or not. you could always attach a cute bow or tie some ribbon around the gifts to dress them up. another option if to put everything into one box. gift wrap that box and then place it into a bigger shipper box.
the postal service has a LOT of rules, so I would leave the shipping box brown and place the wrapped gifts inside. If they’re tricky to wrap just put them in boxes, and then places all your smaller wrapped packages inside the bigger shipping box.
I did the giftwrapping project for 10 years in 4-H, lol. We had to “wrap a package ready for mailing” one year, and that’s what I did.
I’ll share with you how I sent mine. I put them all in one box unwrapped inside and then wrapped the outside of the package in baby wrapping paper and put a big address label on it. I have also recieved a birthday gift in the mail wrapped in birthday paper and thought it was so cute.
Hope that helps……
if they’re coming from the manufacturer, then I would say no, but if you’re sending them, I would wrap it. you can always double box it so you can wrap the inside box while leaving the shipping box brown.
it wuld b nice if you could wrap it..
