Need Of Unique Baby Shower Gift Ideas And Games Too…?
Ok long story short my soon-to-be sister in law is having a baby shower in a couple of months, well her Mom asked me to help out. So i’m in charge of games, decorations and getting a really special gift. I’m already working on a diaper cake but I need some really cool ideas to go along with it. So if anyone has any suggestions feel free to share them

My sister got 8 different kinds of candy bars an melted them in the microwave an put them in a diaper people had to smell them an really look at them to find out what kind of candy bar it was. You also can grab a diaper pour water on the diaper count the cups of water go into a diaper. People had to guess how many cups went into that diaper. How ever guessed the amount wins. Also have people bring diapers an they can win a prize. What i would do is on the invite put if you would like to participate in the door buster prize. Please bring size __ (an tell them the size that way you don’t get 10 newborn packs) an with store you need a receipt. I was a new mom an I had to guess where people got that pack of diapers I was running around store to store to exchange the diapers to get a size i could use. I had WAY TO MANY NEWBORN DIAPERS. It really sucks when you have a baby that you have to get in an out of the car at every stop. My son is 7 weeks old an i still have 2 boxes from Costco left BEST IDEA EVER!!! Thanks MOM!!!

at my sister-in-laws we did a diaper raffle, put on the invites for everyone to bring a pack of diapers (any size bc they will eventually use them all) and then got a prize (our were concert tickets) and you got entered into the raffle with your package of diapers.
we also played taboo with clothes pins (or something) each person gets one when they arrive and then you cannot say the work “baby” for the whole party, if you do who ever hears you gets ALL you pins, who ever has the most pins at the ends wins a prize (you can still get someone elses pins if they say baby when you don’t have any)
the other thing i thought was cute was instead of a guest book they ha a baby blanket and people signed it with fabric paint, it now hangs in the baby’s room.

diaper cakes are the cutest. write me back and i’ll tell you a good place to find one. the website is under construction, but i know the owner. and i’ll try to dig up my book on shower games. you can put candy in a baby bottle and everybody has to guess the amount. mad libs or add libs are fun. give everyone 3 pins and anytime they say the word baby the have to give a pin to the person who calls them out, who ever is left with the most wins! there’s lots of stuff. but defiantly get a diaper cake – they are functional and adorable!!
At our shower, we decorated onesies. My friends got fabric paint pens and a bunch of white onesies in different sizes, newborn to 9 months. Folks at the party decorated them while drinking wine. The onesies were great and always made us smile – even during 3am changes!
The bring-a-diaper games sound fun but check to see that your sister is using disposables. If she’s using cloth diapers, they won’t really be useful.
