I Want To Make A Baby Shower Gift, A Kit For Labor. Any Ideas?

I wanna make her a bag with essentials she will need when she goes to the hospital. Any ideas of what to fill it with?

Snacks(for before the baby comes, after she won’t be able to eat anything for awhile). Maybe a comfy nightgown. Comfy socks for sure (my feet were so cold)! Magazines, cards, anything to keep her occupied and her mind off the pain. Shampoo and Conditioner. Mints or gum. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

    Some ideas…
    Massage oil
    hand-held fan
mirror (for seeing baby as she’s pushing – its very helpful to help her muster that last bit of strength)
Lansinoh breast ointment and Lansinoh nursing pads (absolutely no other brand, Lansinoh has a protective layer in their nursing pads that prevents pain and sticking, its also softer and absorbs more milk)
Some snacks – dried fruit bars or health food store energy bars
    disposable camera
    baby book
Another idea instead is to hire a doula for her. They’ll have everything she’ll need, and a lot more knowledge and experience.

Go to the gift shop at the hospital They have everthing. They did at my daughters hospital any way, where she gave birth 5 months ago. Good Luck.

A small btl of nail polish and remover, just in case
A btl of stuff called Dermaplex. It is by the bandaides and it is in a red metal can. It helps relieve the pain during urination after the baby comes! It’s a must!
    Candy bar or granola bars.
    Shampoo, conditioner, small brush
    Deck of cards
    Hope this helps
