   One of my friends make me a ‘nappy cake’ She rolled up nappies cloth or disposable works the same and did layers to make it look like a cake. She decorated it with ribbons and stuff – it is one of the most memorable presents i got – and practical

   The best thing about them is you can decorate how ever you want to.
   If you don’t want to spend too much how about a hand made mobile using pipe cleaners and shapes cut out from shine colourful paper.
   New babies love making noise – making a rattle out of a small container with some uncooked rice inside (just make sure it can’t be opened) and then colourfully decorated would also be great.
   Just remember that any paint you use must be non toxic as anything you give your new cousin will end up in his mouth.

   how about a tied fleece blanket. You cut two pieces of fleece the size you want the blanket to be. and cut sort of a “fringe” around the edge. then you tie the fringe from one piece of fleece and the fringe from the second fleece together. use a double knot.
   what about a plain colored onesie with a design made in fabric paint?

   if the baby isn’t allergic to lavender u can make lavender pouches. not only do they only take 20 min. to make, lavender is a soothing smell and can make the baby sleep better. ( which will help the parents). all u need is 2 little 4×4 material squares and some thread and lavender. SUPER EASY
