Gift Baskets For Baby, Parents, And Brother?

Hello all, my sister-in-law will be having a little girl in the near future and we are making up some fun gift baskets for our new niece, the parents, and our nephew. For the baby, we are doing a bath-themed gift set and including a gift card, any ideas of what to include with this? For the parents we were thinking a set of tea products as they both love tea, any ideas here? And we have no idea for our nephew but something reflective of him being a new brother, anyone know of any good books or anything at all? He is 8 by the way, if that helps.

for the new brother i would do a few big brother things but also think about toys since he will be sitting in the hospital room while everyone is going after baby some new toys would give him something to do also a good place to get these gifts is on the web it is called http://www.uncommongoods.com they have some neat things but focus on things for the brother he may feel left out

    That a good idea!
Bath – I would recommend bath towels, washcloths, Johnson & Jonson head to toe baby soap, baby lotion and a mabye a bath toy, rubber ducy.
Tea – Whatever their favorite tea is (or a mix of few different ones, early grey tea, green tea, etc.) and 3 new mug (that say mommy, daddy & brother)
New Brother – not sure what 8 year olds like, but maybe a new DVD or book about being a big brother and t-shirt that says big brother…sorry, don’t know any 8 year olds ;) not sure if that is “cool enough” for him.

As an extra to the baby, include a “I love my big brother” bib. I’ve bought 2 at Walmart, in both blue and pink (for 2 babies). You might try a portable video game, age appropriate that might keep him busy during the times the new baby comes home. Also, while everyone is at the hospital, you might take him to McDonalds or his favorite, junk food type of restaurant. Good luck!

Cute Idea! For baby I would include the gift card, some baby wash/lotion, a little robe, a rubbery ducky, etc. I did this once for someone but instead of using a basket, I threw it all into an actual infant bath tub (they are very inexpensive) then wrapped it in clear paper, bunched it at the top with a bow.
For them, the tea is a good thing to go with. Include different flavors, a couple mugs, and maybe some cookies. Hide in the bottom a bottle of tylenol :-)
For brother, you can find shirts that say “I’m the big brother” online would probably be your quickest bet. Books and maybe a movie would be a great idea. A disposable camera so he can take pictures when his new sister comes?? It may make him feel like he has a job, and is included. Good Luck!

Hooded towels and a rubber ducky! ebay has some really cool out of the ordinary ducks like a pink camo and a pink princess! Also bath soap I like the lavender sent, and bath mitts instead of wash cloths, these also come in fun designs! As for tea check out adagios tea site (adagio.com) it is very good their jasmine number 5 is to die for! They also sell clear cups with those blooming teas so cute got them for my sis for x-mas! I also saw a t-shirt that says I’m a big brother, mess with my sis and I’ll beat you up! don’t know where to get it but Funny! You could always make your own to look like a kid made it!

i very much prefer bath towels that are made of cotton or polyester, they are very soft and easy to dry”“
