Someone gave me a plastic laundry basket filled with tons of baby stuff at my baby shower. Get creative. There are lots of inexpensive ideas to fill it with. Even the dollar store or WalMart has stuff to put in it. I was surprised at some of the stuff you could get at the dollar store! For instance, baby hangers, formula dispensers, wipes, plastic bags to put dirty diapers in, hand sanitizer, binkies, wash cloths, etc. And you could include a few other necessities too from other stores like Target or WalMart. I think it’s the best idea. You could even throw in something little for Mom, like a candle or better yet… Chocolate… YUM!

Gift baskets aren’t really cheap. For the same price you can buy a basket at the dollar store and then add some fairly cheap items yourself. You can buy things like a package of washclothes and blankets, baby soaps and shampoos, powders lotions, teething rings, pacifiers, you could even buy baby spoons, bibs, rattles…etc. And if you open the packages of say the washclothes and blankets, it’ll make it appear to be fuller than what it really is.
I would have said get a bathtub, but that seems to be the typical “basket” for things. You could get a really cute and inexpensive clothes hamper or laundry basket to put the items in. And instead of using tissue paper on the bottom, use the blankets instead =)

You can make your own for cheaper than you can buy one made for you. Im not sure how low on cash you are, but if you can swing it, buy a baby tub (they are only around $10, ’bout the same as you’d pay for a basket) And throw in some baby soap, lotion, powder, wash cloths, whatever you can afford. Cute idea and you can make it as cheap or expensive as you want.

Baskets are so overpriced in the store, and you don’t get each individual thing you want that way, buy something she’s going to need anyway such as a baby bathtub, and put items like diapers, wipes lotions soaps, ect, then buy some of that see threw plastic paper, in pastel clothers, or pink of blue if she knows the gender, then wrap it all up with some ribben. That would be cute, creative, and you can get more for your money.
Another great Idea is a diaper cake, I did that for my sister in law, I was AMAZED, how much easier it was than I thought it was going to be. Look up in google, “diaper cake instructions” there’s videos, and step by step instructions that make it easy to understand.

go to walmart and make her one. you can make it just as cheap as buying it. you could do a bath theme and get one of those rubber dukies (3 dollars)that say the temp on the bottom. a cute bath towel and wash cloth set (5 bucks) and then get some baby shampoo wash and oil and some baby powder. put them in a cute little basket from walmart and there ya go. you could probably even go to the dollar store and get all that stuff. i would definatly make it though

The best baby baskets are always bought from stores like babies r us. They are affordable and well made. They can make them using the items off of her gift registry or with items you choose. I received two of them at my baby shower and they came in the handiest. I also got a gift card tree from a relative. They dangled gift cards from a mesh tree! Very creative.

gift baskets can be expensive so try making your own. You can even get some cute stuff for the nursery at the dollar store (little piggy banks and stuff).

You could always buy a baby bathtub and fill it with various small things for baby. I got one of those and it was one of my favorite gifts!

baskets are expensive, just get her a regular gift. Clothes for the baby are always good.
