I ordered a baby gift online for an estranged friend. We had a blow up over something so dumb a year and a half ago. I have spoke to her briefly since, but we are not friends anymore. My husband’s best friend’s sister just had her 3rd kid. I didn’t know her when she had her first, she sent an announcement for her second, and I didn’t send a gift, much less respond, but I had a baby, and now I am much more sensative to parents and their needs and expectations (and I like babies more ). I mailed a baby gift to a friend who lives in another state just before Christmas,after receiving an announcement of the baby’s birth.She & I were close before she moved but since the move we have only corresponded by mail.
