The above anwsers are all good I have one to add. Its a bear that you turn on and it makes the sounds of the mothers heart like heard in the womb and it helps the baby sleep.

The best shower gift is the “Bumbo seat”. It’s a little molded seat that allows babies from 4 mos and up to sit up by themselves. I think that has been the greatest baby invention ever made!!
It was so easy to have our baby sit up at playdates to see the other babies, or sit up in the kitchen and watch me cook, etc. You can order it on-line, but they also started selling them at baby chain stores.

My best friend MADE my twins a crocheted blanket & scrapbooks for each of them. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to do that, but I’d still like to get her something a little more “sentimental” or “personal” (my sister & I already bought her a swing). She is having a boy & the shower is next weekend. Any ideas? Thanks!
