Baby Gift: A Dear Friend Has Just Had A Baby Daughter.i’m Thinking Of Giving A Nice Glass Candlestick?

to the baby with a white candle, with a follow-up good glass candlestick every year till she’s 21. Is that a meaningful gift for when the girl is an adult, – or is it just too gay?

What Is The Courtesy For Giving A New Baby Gift?

When a couple has a new baby, do you have to send a gift immediately or is it ok to send it within a few months? A good friend of mine out of state had a baby 2 months ago and I have been searching everywhere for a specific gift I want to get the baby related to her favorite sports team. Part of me feels bad but the baby is still a newborn so I was just curious. I’m going to be visiting her next month so I was planning on bringing it with me then. Is this ok?

What Are The Traditions About Baby Shower And Baby Gifts Giving In Your Country?

Where I come from, there is no such thing as a baby shower. When the mother delivers her baby, her family and close friends would visit her in the hospital and take flowers and/or chocolate with them. The chocolate and flowers would usually be presented in a “decorative” way to welcome the new baby; for example, a pink teddy with flowers for a baby girl. The guests would be served sweets which are also especially made to welcome the new baby (kind of like wedding favors but pink or blue). When the mother goes home with her baby, her family, close friends, and everyone else would visit her and take gifts… the gifts are usually baby stuff such as toys, clothes, etc. The price of the gift is usually determined by your financial status and how close you are to the mother of the baby. The mother does not choose her gifts or register at any place. Instead, she accepts and appreciates all gifts she receives, whether she needs them or not… Further, unless the gift giver is really close with the mom, the gift would be opened after the guest(s) leave(s).

What Are The Traditions About Baby Shower And Baby Gifts Giving In India?

I don’t know much, but here is what I found:
“Among Hindus in India, religious rituals resembling modern baby showers are held during the seventh month of pregnancy. In earlier times it was a function which was organized and attended by women only, but in recent years, due to India’s level of western influence, both genders are often included.”

What Are The Traditions About Baby Shower And Baby Gifts Giving In Denmark?

baby showers is a rather new tradition here(like valentines day etc) because in the old days receiving gifts before the baby was born meant death and bad luck… so its very very few who have baby showers.
presents are typically given after and at the baptism
