I Sent A Baby Gift To An Estranged Friend, Is That Appropriate?

I ordered a baby gift online for an estranged friend. We had a blow up over something so dumb a year and a half ago. I have spoke to her briefly since, but we are not friends anymore. Her husband was deployed with my husband (they are friends) but recently got sent home early because she is about to have the baby. Anyways, when I had my second daughter, she threw a baby shower for me, so even though we aren’t friends anymore I wanted to send a little gift. I just ordered a little layette from Walmart… nothing big. Do you think it was a nice gesture or was it wrong to do?

My husband and I are going to a diaper party for our friends who are having a baby next month. The soon to be mom is having a shower of her own where she will receive gifts so she decided to throw this for her boyfriend since his birthday is coming up soon.
