What Should I Write On The Card That Goes With My Baby Shower Gift?

The card I’m giving with my present says “Showers of wishes for your bundle of joy! Happy Baby shower”. Should I just put the parents names on the envelope? Or also the baby’s name. (They know what they’ll be naming him) Any ideas for what I should say in the card? I guess I’m mostly wondering if I should be addressing just the parents, or the parents and the baby.

Should I Send My Former Boss A “congratulations” Card And Gift Basket For Her New Baby?

I just found out that my former boss gave birth. She’s on maternity leave but I want to send her a congrats card and maybe something small for the baby like a small gift basket. First of all, is this APPROPRIATE? and second of all, where do I send it since she’s on maternity leave and isn’t in her office. I dont have her home address or anything like that.

When You Send A Thank You Card For A Baby Gift Did You Write Something Inside The Card Besides Who Its From?

I got cards that are blank in the inside. So I just wrote who its to and from. The front pretty much says thank you. Do you think a person should say more.

My Friend Just Got A New Baby:get Him A Gift Basket Or Gift Card?

Should I get him & his wife a baby gift basket delivered to him or should I just mail him a card enclosed with a gift certificate? I figure a gift certificate would be better, since for the gift basket, there is a deliver charge and the items in it are charged at a premium anyway, so a gift certificate would be more “economical” for the same price as the gift basket.
Opinions?
