We are throwing my son a small first birthday party and I’m writing up the invites right now. I do not want people to feel obligated to bring him a gift. I just want people to come to share in his special day. Is It Appropriate To Get A Small Gift For The Older Sibling Of A Birthday Baby?

We’re going to a small birthday gathering for a lady from church whose baby is turning 1. She also has a daughter who will be 4 in December.
