I would prefer not to get the everyday clothes that kind of thing. I am sure she does not really have all of her hand me downs from her other kids anymore. (She was on the IUD with this one.)
But I would really prefer for it to be more original. However I don’t have any ideas?

She is about to deliever at 34 weeks and I wanted to get her something that she might find useful and enjoy as she begins to go through bringing home a premature baby and starting chemotherapy. My boss is a scientist, and I thought about getting a nerdy bib for his daughter but the shipping takes way too long. I think it is appropriate to spend <$25 on this gift. She is the first child, so they probably have already been given everything under the sun. Any ideas? I have a good, casual relationship with my boss (i.e. we joke around and stuff), and I've met his wife several times. Both have a great sense of humor.

I’m going to Vancouver in December to see my boyfriend for Christmas. He shares an apartment with a friend / Co-woker, his wife, and their two children. They are expecting their third child.
